Thursday Night Trap League

Thursday Night Trap League

The league is open to the general public and Club members. We welcome men, women and high school age shooters.

This is a ten week league, taking place occasionally during the year, at 6 PM on Thursdays.

The league is set up similarly to local bowling leagues. Shooting is 25 from the 16 yard line and 25 from the 22 yard line.

The league ends with a BBQ and awards dinner.

Show up, introduce yourself, and meet some new shooting friends.

2016 Winter Trap League – December 8th

The Next Thursday Night Trap League will start on December 8th with registration and first shoot on that date.

10 weeks of trap shooting; singles, handicap, doubles, wobbles and sliders.
Five-person teams highly recommended.
For teams short a member or two, we may locate another shooter during registration.

For the winter series we have been asked to incorporate 5-stand into the mix. So we will send two squads to 5-stand while the others shoot the trap venues.

$190 registration fee per shooter includes targets and awards dinner. All fees are due at regsitration. No refunds.
If a shooter cannot make a shoot date, someone may shoot in their place.
A shooter that is absent will receive 75% of their average score at that time.

Registration & Shoot Dates and Times
Registration for all shooters is on Thursday December 8th.
League shooting begins on Thursday December 8th, running ten weeks.
Practice traps will be open at 5:00pm, trap tokens will be available to purchase at the office.
Shooting starts at 6:00pm.

Awards Dinner
The date and time for the awards dinner to be announced.

League shooters who bring a new league shooter who registers and pays the fees, will receive two boxes of shotgun shells.

It has been near impossible to find volunteer score keepers.
At the start of this league, the first two teams to arrive will be assigned a trap and each team will score for the other.
The next two teams that arrive will be assigned another trap and score for each other.
That system will continue until all teams have shooters and score keepers.
